It's not completely silver like in the picture; it seems to be all black, but there are some parts that have a bit of a shine to them. Overall, it feels quite plastic-like, but if it's exposed to direct sunlight, it might not be as glaring and might look better. The packaging is just a single plastic bag, but the propeller works well and I'm satisfied.
